Privacy
This website is operated by SparkleSolutions OÜ (registry code 16293004, Telliskivi tn 57, 10412 Tallinn, Estonia) as the organising partner of the Estonian Fabric User Group. The community is not a legal entity, so the controller of the personal data described here is SparkleSolutions OÜ. Questions and requests: info@fabricusergroup.ee.
Sparkle uses this data only for the community, never for its own sales or marketing. Microsoft's user group program rules require the same.
Visiting the website
The website has no user accounts, no comments and no contact form. The pages are served by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Cloudflare processes the technical data of every request (IP address, browser type, the address of the page requested) and, when a page fails to load, the error report your browser sends, to deliver the pages and protect the website from attacks. We do not use this data to identify visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website.
Cookies
efug_consent(necessary, set by this website): your cookie choice and when you made it, 12 months._gaand_ga_…(analytics, only with your consent): Google Analytics, see below.
This website sets no other cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Google Analytics
Only with your consent do we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_… for up to two years, tells visitors apart and shows how the website is used. We also count clicks on registration links and newsletter sign-ups, not what you type into a form. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Data may be transferred to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent. When you withdraw it, the tag is stopped, the _ga cookies are deleted and the page reloads.
Videos
Recordings appear on the page as a link. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. Then the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, Google Ireland Limited), and YouTube’s privacy terms apply from there. Without JavaScript the link opens the video on youtube.com.
Newsletter
When you join the newsletter, the form sends your email address straight to the newsletter service Smaily (Estonia). The address is stored in the Smaily account of the organising partner, SparkleSolutions OÜ, under its own tag, and receives only the community newsletter, about once a month. Sparkle does not send its own marketing to this address, and the list is never shared with any other partner. Smaily may show a robot check on its own page before you are signed up. Every issue has an unsubscribe link at the bottom; after that you get no more newsletters. If you want the address deleted entirely, write to us. Legal basis: your consent.
Event registration
Registration for meetups runs through the ticketing service linked on the event page (usually Fienta, Estonia). Registrations on Fienta go to SparkleSolutions OÜ’s organiser account. We use your name, email address and any other details the registration form asks for to know how many people are coming, to send event information and to contact you if needed. The attendee list is not shared with the host or with other partners. The data is kept as long as it is needed to run the event. Legal basis: your wish to attend and our legitimate interest in running the meetup. At events a partner organises itself, the organiser’s own terms apply, as stated on the registration page.
Photos and recordings
Meetups, and the other events listed on this website, are photographed and talks are recorded. We publish the photos on this website (on the event’s page, and some on the home page) and in the community’s channels, so the content reaches the people who could not come; a talk recording is published only with the speaker’s consent. If you do not want to be in a photo, tell an organiser on the spot. To have a published photo removed, write to us and we will remove it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing the community’s activity; for speakers’ recordings, consent.
Speaker and organiser pages
Speaker and committee pages show the name, role, company and appearances, plus a photo and a LinkedIn link where available. To change or remove your page, write to us.
Cloudflare forwards mail sent to info@fabricusergroup.ee to the organisers’ mailbox, which SparkleSolutions OÜ manages. We use your address and message only to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Links to other websites
Links to LinkedIn, Meetup, Fienta, Microsoft’s Fabric Community and partner websites open those sites. Nothing from them is loaded on this website, and their own privacy terms apply there. RSVPs on Meetup are visible to the Meetup group’s organisers.
How long we keep data

- Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Registration data: as long as it is needed to run the event.

Your rights
You can ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a machine-readable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect what happened before. Write to info@fabricusergroup.ee; we reply within one month.
